Traditional Hot Stone Bath
River stones heated in fire, herbs in the water, mountains all around.

The menchu, or hot stone bath, is Bhutan's oldest remedy — river stones roasted until glowing, then slid into herb-steeped water.
Soak in a wooden tub under open sky as the mineral-rich water eases altitude and aching legs, artemisia scenting the steam.
We can arrange yours at a farmhouse or a remote riverside — build your own bath, and linger as long as you like.
