Paro is situated at a height of 2,225 m (7300 ft.) above sea level and is surrounded by mountains as high as 4,876 m (16,000 ft.). The only international airport in Bhutan is located at Paro. DrukAir (Royal Bhutan airline) and Bhutan Airlines (Private Tashi Air) are the only airlines flying in and out of Bhutan. Currently Druk Air operates a daily flight between Paro and Bangkok. Drukair also flies to cities like New Delhi, Katmandu, Singapore, Dhaka, Bagdora, Kolkata, Mumbai and Guwahati. Whereas Bhutan Airlines (Tashi Air) has flights to and from Bangkok and Katmandu.
